Never met him but the Henry “Dutch” Raffeis was my Moms, Dads, Brother, so that would make him my Grand Uncle. I am a retired RMCS(SS) 1970 – 1993 (USS QUEENFISH SSN 651, USS SARGO SSN 583, and USS SALT LAKE CITY SSN 716). My son is also submarine qualified and is an ITCS(SS). This was great data to add to our family tree.

I am glad that you are able to fill in some details into your family history and his role in the history of athletics is notable. Hi!I’m Oscar Sessions daughter Nancy!”Chicken Hawks”As well was known as “Smokey”as dad could hurl that baseball 100 mph….l was born in 1955.I was his only daughter.He was so much fun.And he helped couch GMU baseball team later.As well he was a scout for The Milwaukee Brewers!I miss him lots!
