Our collection of artifacts includes and extensive and growing collection of news service, military branch public relations, and personal snapshot photographs, many of which are used in our publication. Many of these images are unique in that no other copies exist. All photographs published on Chevrons and Diamonds are the property of the Chevrons and Diamonds Collection unless otherwise indicated.
Our collection includes personal photos from former major and minor leaguers and were obtained either directly from their estates, family members or through auctions. Baseball personalities whose photos populate our collection include Bill Dickey, Johnny Pesky, Chuck Stevens, Commissioner Albert B. “Happy” Chandler, Aldon “Lefty” Wilkie, Al Brancato, and many more.
