This set of baseballs originates from the estate of Mr. Jim Schwendeman who was an umpire in Hawaii in 1945 that featured American and national league stars.
This lot of eight balls is a part of the original auction held April 2-3 2008 and this selection constitutes half of that listing. One of the eight balls was the first ball Mr Schwendeman used and signed during his first game in 1940.
