When the GI World Series shifted to Reims for games 3 and 4, the scorecard used was a bit more rudimentary (courtesy of Gary Cieradkowski).

Similar to the GI World Series scorecard from the Nuremburg games, this is one the most scarce or rare of the wartime scorecards from notable service team games of World War II. Used for games 3 and 4 that were hosted at Reims, France, these home played on September 6 and 7, respectively and the Oise All-Stars were the home team and played host to the Third Army Champions, the 71st Division Red Circlers.

This 8-1/2″ x 11″ single sheet of paper is printed on both sides with a center fold. All four panels are monochrome printed black in this piece that was produced by the Special Services of the Headquarters Command, Oise Intermediate Section at Reims, France.

The series was a battle that the Oise All Stars won, three games to the 71st Infantry Red Circlers’ two – each team had split the home and road games prior to returning to Nuremberg for the fifth and deciding game. With the Third Army/71st Division Red Circlers downed the Oise All-Stars, 5-0 in this game, the Series was tied 2-2 and returned to Nuremberg for the fifth and deciding game.
