Seeking out existing sources to bring to bear for dating baseball uniforms leaves much to be desired. Wilson Sports Equipment has been in operation for over a century having been founded in 1913 and has been supplying professional, collegiate and amateur baseball teams with togs the end of the first World War. Their tags have experienced a variety of changes and in the last few decades of the 20th Century, revisited some of their earlier tag designs.
