The cover graphics and the back panel details on this 1946 Army-Navy baseball scorecard appeared to be consistent for several years of games hosted at Annapolis (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).

Two years after losing to Army at home, the 1946 Naval Academy Midshipmen were seeking to avenge their 1944 8-2 and 1945 7-2 drubbings at the hands of West Point. Back at Lawrence Field in Annapolis, the 15-23 Midshipmen atoned for their consecutive series losses with an 11-5 beating on the cadets.

As with the 1941 and 1944 Army-Navy scorecards, this piece was monochrome-black printed on a single sheet of cardstock, folded at the center with full team rosters and numbers for each ballclub. In addition, the the series record is printed on the back panel.

Unscored, this card is in moderate condition with a heavy crease at the fold and medium-staining/discoloration (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).
