Playing for the Prince Henry Hospital Sportsmen’s Fund, this game was played on April 8, 1945 at the St. Kilda Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia. It is an easy assumption that the U.S. Navy club handily dispatched the Australians but the 3-0 victory was even closer than the score indicates (see: International Baseball Day Down Under: Victoria Plays Host to the U.S. Navy).

With nearly 12,000 in attendance, proceeds from the game raised more than 200-Pounds for the charity. This eight page program is brochure sized with four two-sided printed sheets folded and bound in the gutter with two staples.

The two-color cover encloses three pages of monochrome black printing including rosters, game rules and a diagram of the baseball diamond.

The cover has seen some degradation and paper loss and each page has creases and some dogearing. The printing is crisp and very legible.
