The cover graphics and the back panel details on this 1944 Army-Navy baseball scorecard appeared to be consistent for several years of games hosted at Annapolis (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).

With a record of 15-21, the Navy was inching their way closer to evening the series record against West Point in 1944. Coming off of a 1943 8-2 victory at West Point, the 14-5 1944 Midshipmen hosted the 9-3 Cadets who were seeking to avenge their home loss. West Point flipped the 1943 script and rung up the Naval Academy 8-2 and extended their series record to 22-15.

As with the 1941 and 1946 Army-Navy scorecards, this piece was monochrome-black printed on a single sheet of cardstock, folded at the center with full team rosters and numbers for each ballclub. In addition, the 1944 season records for each team along with the series records are printed on the back panel. The game was scored through the seventh inning.

Scored through seven innings, this card is in good condition with minimal wear and some light staining (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).
