By providing proof of purchase of a $25 War Bond, for the price of $18.75, a General Admission ticket would be given to the bearer for access to the April 29, 1944 game at Honolulu Stadium to see the major league stars, (then) currently serving in the armed forces in Hawaii, face the Honolulu League All-Stars.

Several all-star games were played by major leaguers on various teams during the month of April in 1944. Though the team featuring the Major League players, all except for Tom Winsett were serving in the Navy (predominantly on the Pearl Harbor Submarine Base Dolphins squad (see Playing for Victory: War Bond Baseball in Hawaii).

This unused game ticket is in very good condition with a diagonal crease running from the perforation across the stub. The heavy paper stock is similar to what was used during the fall Servicemen’s World Series, though this ticket bears far more printed details.
