The last time that the service academies would meet before the war, the game moved back to West Point, New York for the 1941 game. After dropping the 1940 game at Annapolis, the hosts secured a 4-3 victory over the Midshipmen.
Aside from the ancillary ink marks, it appears that the original scorecard owner was either unfamiliar with how to score a baseball game or he (or she) was solely tracking the Army’s runs (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).
This programs is monochrome-black printed on a single sheet of cardstock, folded at the center with full team rosters and numbers.
In additon to providing the series history, the back of the score card also lists the season schedule and records for each team (Chevrons and Diamonds Collection).
